Finn Valley AC have today released the key events that they will host in 2017 .
The line up of events includes a mixture of Track & Field, Road Race options and no doubt the Donegal and Ulster championships will added in time.
The events kick off with the Glenmore 10 mile, the inaugural organization of this, a 10 mile road run on February 5th at 11 am. (for registration check out www.finnvalleycentre.com). This is followed by the RunDonegal Women’s 5k on April 2nd at 11 am in aid of Ovarian Cancer research. The Ballyliffin Coastal Challenge a 10 mile / 7 mile option with the backdrop of beautiful scenery takes place on Easter Saturday April 15th at 1pm and is dedicated to the Cancer Care West charity. We enter track/field territory in May with the well-established primary schools days which take place on May 9th/10th with the County Finals scheduled for May 24th. Also in May there is what the popular Little Athletics, also an annual event taking place on the evening of May 12th at 6.30pm.
During the Autumn / Winter months there is the opportunity for all to take part in the Remembrance 10k in November and the St. Stephens Day 5k in December. Finn Valley AC pride themselves on delivering 5 star events and will endeavour to do so once again and look forward to getting the programme underway with the Glenmore 10 on Feb 5th.
